Job Description

Position: Utility Courier

The Utility Courier is responsible for picking up and delivering customer packages to meet daily schedules, resolving issues as they arise, and covering for absent couriers across different shifts.

Responsibilities
  1. Pick up and deliver packages to meet daily schedules.
  2. Scan packages/mail upon receipt, delivery, or return at the depot.
  3. Resolve on-road problems collaboratively with Dispatch and customers.
  4. Conduct daily vehicle inspections using a scanner and electronic reports.
  5. Report any inspection failures to the unit manager.
Additional Responsibilities
Education

Completion of High School or equivalent.

Experience

Completion of vocational and business courses typical for high school students.

Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving record.

  • Knowledge of Domestic Shipping and Shipping & Receiving Operations.
Physical Efforts
  • Ability to lift/lower up to 70 pounds.
  • Sitting, standing, and climbing during shifts.
