Job description

This is a domicile position located in Grand Falls, NFLD. This is an interview position.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
  2. Check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service.
  3. Provide related customer service functions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
  • Preferred: One year of customer-oriented business experience.
  • Must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
  • Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules and holidays as needed.

Additional Notes:

This job requires performing all other duties as assigned, operating in a PC Windows environment, completing required training, and working varying shifts. Candidates residing in Quebec must be bilingual (French and English). For driving roles, a valid driver’s license (Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) and a clean driving record are mandatory. Candidates will be assessed based on their driving record, interview performance, and driver assessments.
