Job description

Position Overview

This is an interview position responsible for loading and unloading aircraft and vehicles, sorting packages, and ensuring efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. The role includes checking shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada standards and providing related customer service functions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
• Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to work different schedules and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of customer-oriented business experience
• Comfortable driving a 5-ton vehicle
• Full valid Class G driver’s license (G2 not acceptable)

Additional Details

Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Location: Barrie (YBNA). Full-time Courier/Handler position. Job posting date: 05/13/2025; closing date: 05/20/2025 at 3 PM local time.
