Job description

This is an interview position.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading aircraft and vehicles, sorting packages, and ensuring efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. The role also involves checking shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service and providing related customer service functions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Preferred: One year of customer-oriented business experience
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
  • Must pass minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
  • Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work different schedules and holidays based on business needs
