Job summary

Purolator is hiring a part-time courier in Timmins, ON. The role involves picking up and delivering customer packages while meeting daily schedules. You will scan packages and handle issues in collaboration with Dispatch and customers.

Requirements include a High School diploma, vocational courses, and a valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record. The shift runs Monday to Friday, 11am–3pm, about 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Location: Chapleau, ON

Shift: Monday – Friday 11am-3pm, 20 hours per week

The Courier picks up and delivers customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules and resolves problems as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
• Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)

Additional Responsibilities

• Completion of High School
• Completion of specific vocational courses
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

Experience

• 3 years of driving experience and clean driver’s abstract to drive delivery vehicles.
