Job description

Position: Part-Time Courier

This is an interview position responsible for providing courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route. The role includes checking all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service and performing related customer service functions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Preferred: One year of customer-oriented business experience
• Must pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
• Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset
• Good interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work under pressure
• Flexible with work schedules, including holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Must have a full valid Class 5 license (provisional licenses are not acceptable). Must be bilingual in English and French. Job posted on 05/01/2025, unposted on 05/08/2025.
