Job summary

Dynacare in Kelowna, BC is seeking a casual (on‑call) Courier responsible for pickup and delivery of medical samples with a courteous, timely, and professional approach. You will cover routes in the Central Okanagan, including weekend shifts, and act as the Dynacare representative at all times.

Key requirements include a valid G license with a clean three‑year abstract, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and at least 1 year of courier or driver experience. TDG certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor with a laser‑focus on quality.
• Strong teamwork skills; capable of working independently while remaining punctual and reliable.
• Valid G driver’s licence with a 3‑year clean driving abstract.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial driver or courier role.
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver medical samples and reports in a courteous, timely, and professional manner.
• Deliver other mail to all locations on the assigned route.
• Act as a representative of Dynacare, maintaining a courteous, informative, and professional demeanor at all times.
• Ensure the safety and security of the vehicle at all times.
• Drive safely under all weather conditions, handling TDG‑regulated substances and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Adapt to city and highway driving at any time of day or night.

• Type: Casual (On-Call) opportunity
• Shift hours: Monday to Saturday between 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (weekdays and weekends) – includes vacations and sick relief.
• Location: Kelowna, BC
• Route: Central Okanagan
• Internal deadline application: March 18, 2026 at 5:00 pm EST

Compensation

Starting pay rate: $19.50 per hour. Final pay offer will be determined by experience and education.
