Location:Canada - 100% Remote / Home Working (Must permanently live in Canada & have the right to work without restrictions to apply for this role)

Hours of work:37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Pay Rate:$40-50 CAD per hour (dependent on experience)

Contract: 12-month initial contract (potential to extend) - Self-employed contractor. Responsible for own taxes.

The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Country Manager with a strong marketing background and able to position Twinkl as the leading expert in education resource provision in Canada.

This role requires smart thinking, a knack for business, and a real passion for helping teachers.

We are looking for an individual who is not only passionate about supporting educators but also deeply connected with educators across the country .Mastery in marketing and social media is essential as you will be responsible for increasing our brand presence and engaging with our audience effectively.

You'll need to be able to spot opportunities and strategically showcase our products. It's a varied role that needs both planning and quick thinking to keep up with the changes in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Entry Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a market entry strategy for Twinkl in Canada.
  • Utilise all available tools to showcase Twinkl's offerings and establish a strong presence in the market.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and gather insights into the local education sector.

Content Development and CPD:

  • Work closely with the Canada Primary Content Manager to drive product innovation and development initiatives tailored to the needs of the Canadian teachers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with national curriculum standards.

Marketing and Brand Awareness:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Plan marketing campaigns across various channels to reach target audiences effectively. Work closely with your marketing team to execute the campaigns.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media and email marketing
  • Actively seek and cultivate partnerships with local organisations and influencers to expand brand reach and credibility.
  • Utilise marketing analytics to measure campaign performance and optimise strategies accordingly.
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members to drive performance and professional development.
  • Innovative Thinking: Ability to generate and implement creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Proactiveness: Demonstrates initiative and a forward-thinking approach to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating and leading change in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Resourcefulness: Efficient in utilising available resources and finding ways to overcome challenges.

Business Growth and Performance:

  • Achieve revenue targets, new customer acquisition goals, and other key performance indicators.
  • Monitor market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to drive growth.
  • Provide regular reporting on market performance and progress towards business Lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

  • Proven expertise in marketing, with a strong ability to develop and execute strategies that drive brand growth and market engagement (essential)

  • Thorough knowledge of the targeted education market and customer needs (desirable)
  • Experience teaching in Canada ideally as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) (desirable)
