Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical firm is seeking a Country Manager to oversee operations in a designated region. Responsibilities include managing profit and revenue targets, collaborating with the head office for strategic initiatives, and driving the execution of sales and marketing plans. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of managerial experience in pharmaceuticals or FMCG and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years working experience as Country Manager in Ethical/OTC/Consumer or International Trading.
  • Proven experience working in Pharmaceuticals/FMCG company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all operations within a country, including P&L responsibilities.

Job description

Country Manager represent Kalbe International in a foreign country. Country Manager work within growing industries experiencing global expansion for driving revenue growth and managing the P&L by successfully managing all company objective, lines of business (ethical, OTC & consumer) and supporting department to meet and exceed business goals through collaboration with regulatory, distributor and agency.

Responsibilities

  • Country Manager will be responsible for managing all operations within a country. This involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets.
  • Collaborate with Head Office for strategic initiative for business expansion (organic & inorganic) and implementation of business plans.
  • Manage Country Sales and Marketing Strategy for Ethical, OTC and Consumer products into action plans, drive execution and continuously monitoring performance.
  • Manage P&L and other commitments due to operation budget and exceed sales and margin commitments to the company.
  • Supervise of supporting functions : Finance, HR, Supply Chain, IT, and other administrative areas to support business operations.
  • Develop strategic partnership with distributor and sales strategic direction for each brand to achieve sales objective with monitoring and evaluation distributor performance.
  • Develop, purpose and monitor execution of marketing plan and strategic direction for each brand to achieve marketing objective and agency performance.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts and customer in the government and private sector to better understand the pulse of the market.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree business administration / management / finance & accounting / pharmacist
  • Minimum 3 years working experience as Country Manager in industry of Ethical / OTC / Consumer or International Trading in a Pharmaceuticals / FMCG company
  • Good communication in English, both verbal and written, is a must
  • Good people-management skills, as well as, sensitivity to different cultural norms
  • Placement in one of the countries in Asia or Africa
