Counterbalance and Reach Truck Forklift Operator - Aurora ON

Position: 2 Forklift Operators (Counterbalance and REACH)

Shifts:

• Afternoon Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Night Shift: Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Rate: $21 to $22 per hour

Location: Industrial Parkway, Aurora, Ontario

(Must be able to commute to Aurora)

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Hours: 8-hour shifts

Reporting To: Shift supervisor

Key Responsibilities: You MUST meet the following requirements to be contacted:

• Operate Counterbalance and Raymond Reach forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count materials (minimum 2 years of Raymond Reach experience)
• Lead and manage forklift operator teams, ensuring responsibilities are fulfilled
• Pick, pack, stage, and ship customer orders
• Maintain safety and efficiency in equipment operation
• Unload and verify inbound shipments and move products to storage
• Ensure shipments are accurate and damage-free; report variances
• Keep records and reports for inventory control and security
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts
• Inspect trailers, raw materials, and finished goods for defects
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Promote safety in operations
• Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of Counterbalance/Reach training certificate and valid license (Flow recertification required)
• Must be able to commute to Aurora, ON
• Must be on a work permit or PR and able to work full-time

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, knowledge of good manufacturing practices, and strong communication skills. Being a team player is essential.
