Job summary

Vast Auto Distribution in Waterloo region seeks a Parts Clerk to support daily operations, deliver parts to customers, and assist shoppers in-store and over the phone. You will update part numbers via catalogs and pursue new clients.

The role requires a high school diploma and automotive parts experience; a dynamic team, 40-hour weeks (Mon–Sat), with group insurance and RRSP after probation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant experience as a parts clerk or strong knowledge of automotive parts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers.
• Inform customers in-store and by phone about products, services and promotions.
• Search catalogs to update part numbers (digital and physical).
• Follow up with customers and solicit new clients.
• Recommend workshop services for brakes, engines, etc.
• Explain product features and provide demonstrations if needed.
• Explain warranties and return policies.

• Perform tasks related to product delivery to our customers.
• Inform customers in-store and by phone about products, services, and ongoing promotions.
• Conduct searches in both digital and physical catalogues to update part numbers.
• Participate in customer follow-ups (phone blitz, etc.) and solicit new clients.
• Recommend the workshop’s machining services for brakes, engines, cylinder heads and clutch systems.
• Explain product and equipment features to customers and provide demonstrations of their operation or installation if needed.
• Explain product warranties and return policies.
