Job summary

EGGSQUIS Beauport is seeking a kitchen assistant to perform dishwashing and basic food-service tasks at our on-site location in Quebec. You will help maintain clean dishes, utensils, countertops and dining areas while assisting with simple food preparation and service.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided; a strong work ethic and ability to follow directions are valued. This is an on-site role at our Quebec location.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• No prior experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Carry and replace linen.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
• Load buspans and trays.
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Place dishes in storage area.
• Package take-out food.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Take customers' orders.
• Handle and store cleaning products.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
