Job description

Jake’s Cottages, located on the lower Trent River at Campbellford, ON, is seeking Seasonal/Temporary Cottage Cleaners for their seasonal cottage business.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for cleaning of cottage(s) – inside areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, bedroom, and living areas.
• Clean floors/rooms, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and spot cleaning windows and mirrors.
• Cleaning of pots and pans, cutlery, and dishes if required.
• Monthly cleaning of the top of fridges, TVs, and fans.
• Cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, light switches, and TV remotes.

Qualifications:

• Must be trustworthy and reliable.
• Must have excellent customer service, time-management, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Must be able-bodied, to bend, twist, lift, and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to be a self-starter and dependable to get the job done with minimum supervision.

Additional Information:

• Compensation: Dependent on skill and experience.
• Job type: Seasonal (mid-April to late October).

• Schedule: Varied; however, will be required to work Saturdays.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the work area.
