Responsibilities

• Responsible for activities related to project cost controls on downstream construction projects.
• Coordinates and directs efforts to ensure optimum costing and coordination of projects to meet company and customer expectations.
• Assists in generating change order estimates, creating change requests, processing change orders, and managing change throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure site project cost control policies and procedures, consistent with department policies, are implemented and monitored throughout the project.
• Analyze, trend, and communicate schedule and progress information to project personnel through graphs and reports.
• Review earned value progress reports with the Project Controls Manager to ensure accuracy.
• Create and maintain the WBS and coordinate work packages. Develop work plans with field departments and hold regular progress meetings.
• Track field progress and review productivity measurement systems.
• Monitor project budgets with the Project Controls Manager.
• Create and review project cost forecasts using cost to date, rates of placement, and productivity data.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports for the manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in EPC O&G Construction required.
• BS degree in a related field is an asset.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, progress measurement, cost analysis, and forecasting.
• Well-organized with good time management skills and a proactive approach to meet goals and deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer skills.
