Cost Analyst Responsibilities :

Analyze manufacturing costs such as BMO's and prepare regular reports on cost variances.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Monitor standard costs and ensure accuracy in cost accounting records.

Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate cost-saving initiatives.

Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Other duties as assigned

Cost Analyst Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in cost analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

AS400 experience is a big plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing.

Knowledge of standard costing, BOM analysis, and inventory valuation.
