Join us to apply for the Cost Analyst role at Dawn Staffing Solutions Inc.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cost Analyst to join our client's manufacturing team in the Kitchener Waterloo, ON region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain standard cost systems and procedures.
  2. Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular cost reports for management.
  3. Review and update product costing, bill of materials (BOM), and labor standards.
  4. Lead budgeting and forecasting related to production and operations costs.
  5. Monitor inventory valuation and ensure proper accounting of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  6. Conduct variance analysis (material, labor, and overhead) and recommend corrective actions.
  7. Partner with procurement, operations, and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  8. Support pricing decisions by providing accurate cost analysis.
  9. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
  10. Prepare audit schedules related to inventory and costing for internal and external audits.
  11. Train and guide costing staff (if applicable) and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
