Under the responsibility of the FP&A Director, the Cost Accounting Analyst supports the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in their functions. The incumbent of this position covers several aspects related to cost accounting. They support the company’s various operational departments in performance monitoring, as well as in the preparation of various key performance indicators. They are also involved in the maintenance of the ERP system (SAP S/4HANA).

As Cost Accounting Analyst you will have to

• Plan and implement controls to ensure the accuracy of inventory valuation.
• Support operation teams in establishing KPIs and other performance metrics.
• Act as a direct liaison with department managers to optimize cost management.
• Contribute to improving production efficiency by analyzing variances between actual and standard costs.
• Produce financial reports and relevant analyses for management, including margin analysis reports.
• Establish and monitor the performance of standard cost rates.
• Support the R&D team in calculating the profitability of specific projects.
• Ensure the financial management and maintenance of the ERP system (SAP S/4HANA).

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA system
• Experience with international groups (an asset)
• Bilingual (French/English), both spoken and written

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
