Responsibilities :

  • Analyze production costs and variances, providing insights to support operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and monitor standard costs across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Prepare and review inventory valuations, work-in-progress, and month-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and procurement teams to validate costing models and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of cost accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare cost forecasts, margin analysis, and support the annual budgeting process.
  • Skills and Experience :

  • Cost Accounting Expertise : Demonstrated experience in manufacturing cost accounting, preferably within an industrial or production environment.
  • Analytical Strength : Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting financial findings to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Experience : Minimum 5+ years in a cost accounting or financial analyst role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Education : CPA designation (or in progress) strongly preferred. Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
  • Systems Proficiency : Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and strong Excel skills.
  • Extra Consideration will be given to those who have experience with :

    Cost modeling, standard costing, variance analysis, inventory reconciliation, lean manufacturing principles, and multinational cost reporting.
