Job description

Our corrugator is a large machine, which combines 3 or more sheets of paper to create a flat sheet of cardboard and is the heartbeat of our operation. We are looking for a dedicated Red Seal Industrial Electrician to maintain our corrugator and keep things running smoothly.

This position is Monday-Friday 8 : 00AM-4 : 00PM with opportunities for overtime with endless learning opportunities and the ability to problem solve. This is a unionized position with an hourly rate of $39.59.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications :

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with AC / DC drives, PLC’s and motor control circuits
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • A mechanical background in the field of hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication will be considered an asset
  • Project managements skills : desire to take responsibility for a project and see it through to completion.
  • The ability to respond quickly to process upsets.
  • Be capable of reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, schematics and manuals.
