Uniglobe Specialty Travel, a proudly Canadian-owned and operated company with 30 years of industry experience, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Corporate Travel Consultant to join our expanding team. As a leader in the travel industry, we specialize in delivering personalized, seamless travel experiences to corporate clients. This is a permanent, full-time position. The Corporate Travel Consultant will provide travel reservation services for all of Uniglobe Specialty Travel’s clients, including airlines, hotels, rental vehicles, and travel insurance. The successful candidate will ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with the policies and procedures outlined in the Uniglobe Specialty Travel Policy Manual.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  1. Booking commercial flights, car rentals, and hotels in the GDS system and online platforms.
  2. Issuing of airline tickets meeting BSP and IATA regulations.
  3. Booking of hotel rooms, meeting rooms, car rentals, transportation, and travel insurance.
  4. Providing a high level of customer service to a variety of clients.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum 2 years experience in Travel Industry specializing in Corporate Travel.
  2. Experience in an office environment using MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  3. Experience with booking and changing international travel arrangements.
  4. Recent advanced GDS experience in a corporate travel environment with a minimum of 2 years experience.
  5. Thorough knowledge of international travel reservations and ticketing requirements.
  6. Thorough knowledge of ticket exchange procedures.
  7. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to a variety of high-expectation clients.
  8. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written.
  9. Ability to work as a team as well as independently and be self-motivated.
  10. Ability to manage conflicting priorities to ensure team members’ satisfaction levels are achieved.
  11. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  12. Attention to detail.
  13. Good understanding of worldwide geography and IATA Airport Codes.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
