Job summary

Bulk Barn is seeking a Store Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Supervisor in day-to-day operations at our Carleton Place location. The role focuses on staff supervision, customer service excellence, cash handling, and maintaining store standards while you work a flexible part-time schedule.

The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• In absence of Store Manager, manage staff and ensure Bulk Barn standards.
• Coach and motivate staff to perform duties effectively.
• Delegate tasks amongst employees and follow up for timely completion.
• Lead and assist workers in day-to-day tasks and ensure excellent customer service.
• Process cash transactions using POS system and Interact terminal.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock shelves.
• Un/load deliveries and ensure a safe working environment.

Position Summary

A Store Key Holder assists the Store Manager and Supervisor in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• In absence of Store Manager, manage staff and ensure that Bulk Barn standards are upheld
• Coach and motivate staff to perform their duties to the best of their abilities
• Delegate tasks amongst employees
• Follow-up with employees to ensure the tasks are being executed correctly and in a timely manner
• Lead and assist workers in performing their day-to-day tasks
• Assist customers in a manner that exceeds customer expectations
• Process cash transactions using POS system and Interact terminal
• Clean store
• Restock store shelves
• Unload deliveries (in excess of 50 lbs.)
• Ensure the store is kept clean at all times
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time.

Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days and evenings, Monday through Sunday. Your availability must be approximately 12 to 25 hours per week.
