Job Title: Corporate Recruiter
Location: Toronto, ON - 2 days/week in office
Duration: 6 months, opportunity for extension. Conversion based on business need and performance
Job Summary
At least 5 years experience. This position is responsible for managing the full cycle recruitment for Technical and Engineering roles. Will guide and facilitate the hiring manager and team to a successful hire. Execute the Talent Acquisition Strategy for the region or assigned client group, and deliver the resourcing policies, framework, and processes. Drive constant external market awareness to build and maintain the company as the employer of choice.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and pipelining candidates
- Understanding key requirements and developing sourcing strategies to ensure strong candidate flow
- Screens candidates to assess skill and culture fit to ensure qualified interviewees
- Drive direct sourcing via social media platforms; increase social media presence
- Partner with hiring managers to identify roles and responsibilities for interviews
- Ensure interview teams are prepared and conduct interviews professionally
- Facilitate debriefs and provide recommendations
- Write role descriptions, conduct kickoff meetings, develop sourcing strategies, and execute sourcing and interviewing
- Consult with hiring managers on the 7-Step Hiring Process for an efficient candidate experience
- Partner with HR on role grading, internal talent, and coaching opportunities
- Assist with closing requisitions, extending offers, and onboarding
- Negotiate offers and manage candidate background checks
- Ensure compliance with legal and professional standards during hiring and onboarding
Qualifications
- Current experience as a technical recruiter
- At least 5 years of tech recruiting experience
- Experience supporting North American software engineering roles, including Data Engineering and Software Engineering
- Full lifecycle recruiting experience with 15-20 requisitions at a time
- Experience with HiredScore preferred
- Strong sourcing skills beyond LinkedIn
