Join our passionate team and play a key role in advancing conservation and biodiversity initiatives, promoting education and delivering innovative experiences and programs while supporting Canada's largest botanical garden.

This is a12-month full-time contractcovering a maternity leave, with the possibility of a6-month extension.

Start Date:July 28, 2025

End Date:July 31, 2026 (possible 6-month extension)

As ourCorporate Partnership Specialist, you’ll be a key driver in securing sponsorships and long-term collaborations that align with RBG’s strategic goals. What You Will Do

  • Cultivate Corporate Partnerships: Lead and grow RBG’s corporate partnership program, encompassing sponsorships, strategic partnerships, cause marketing, and the corporate volunteer program — with a dedicated focus on supporting the capital campaign.
  • Support the Capital Campaign: Develop and execute strategies to secure corporate sponsorships and partnerships that contribute to RBG’s bold vision and campaign priorities.
  • Drive Success: Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, from identification to stewardship, ensuring alignment with RBG’s goals and campaign objectives.
  • Craft Compelling Proposals: Create tailored, persuasive sponsorship and partnership proposals that connect corporate values with RBG’s mission and campaign themes.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with fundraising, sales, and program teams to align partnerships with organizational and campaign priorities.
  • Analyze and Innovate: Leverage data and insights to evaluate performance and refine strategies to ensure partnership success.
  • Deliver Excellence: Ensure seamless post-award management, compliance, and reporting to ensure strong, lasting relationships with corporate supporters.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate partnership development, sponsorship, cause marketing and relationship management.
  • Proven success in building strategic partnerships and securing sponsorships, especially in support of major initiatives or campaigns.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and presentations. Proficiency in CRM systems, project management tools, and workflow planning.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to juggle multiple opportunities and deadlines.
  • Collaborative and relationship-oriented, with a talent for engaging diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of conservation, education, cultural programming, or community engagement is an asset.
