Job description

Our client, a prominent and highly regarded Western Canadian firm, is seeking a highly skilled, experienced Corporate Paralegal to become an integral part of their thriving corporate practice in their Saskatoon office. If you’re looking for a role where you’ll work directly with lawyers and clients on diverse, fast-moving transactions, then this is the role for you!

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a busy corporate environment, brings strong transactional and drafting skills, and is comfortable navigating corporate databases with confidence. A graduate of a recognized legal assistant or paralegal program is ideal, but equivalent experience will be considered.

This is a hands on, client facing role where no two days are the same. You’ll be collaborating closely with a talented team, managing complex transactions, and taking ownership of your files from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle online corporate filings with the Saskatchewan Corporate Registry and Corporations Canada
  • Prepare documentation for incorporations/organizations, name changes, amalgamations, dissolutions, restorals, revivals, reorganizations, amendments, continuances, and other related transactions
  • Manage filings for partnerships, limited partnerships, business names, and coordinate extra-provincial registrations across Canada
  • Draft and file documents for changes to registered offices, share issuances and transfers, director/officer appointments and removals, dividends, redemptions, and other corporate resolutions
  • Draft customized resolutions and related documentation, often on tight deadlines, and handle associated online filings
  • Review and update corporate minute books, correcting deficiencies and ensuring compliance with legislation
  • Conduct and analyze corporate searches
  • Respond to daily inquiries from counsel and clients, providing practical solutions to corporate matters
  • Maintain accurate corporate records and ensure database entries are complete and up-to-date

What You Bring

  • Diploma from a recognized legal assistant/paralegal program or equivalent experience
  • 5 to 7+ years in a corporate paralegal role, preferably in a busy business law firm
  • Strong knowledge of Saskatchewan and federal corporate legislation
  • Proven drafting skills for corporate transactional documents
  • Exceptional organization, accuracy, and ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • A proactive, independent work style — able to take instruction and run with it
  • A collaborative, team-focused mindset and willingness to mentor junior team members
  • Strong client service orientation and polished communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems

What’s in It for You

  • Competitive salary with individual performance bonus potential
  • Sign-on bonus with option for RRSP contribution or cash
  • Flexible benefits for health, dental, and wellness
  • Group savings plans and investment options
  • Flexible work arrangements and vacation coverage
  • Earned Days Off program
  • Ongoing professional development, mentorship, and job-specific training
  • A positive, inclusive workplace where your contributions are valued
