Qualifications
- The candidate should preferably be creative, motivated, good communicator, detail focused, and team-player
Responsibilities
- The candidate will prepare, negotiate, and edit asset purchase, stock purchase, and ancillary agreements in connection with the sale of a company
- Will maintain working knowledge of market terms in small and middle market mergers and acquisitions
- Maintain working knowledge of tax, intellectual property, employment, privacy, and related matters that arise in mergers and acquisitions
- Advise companies regarding corporate governance and fiduciary duty related matters
- Attract and maintain great relationships with emerging company clients
The candidate must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
