Job summary

Olthuis Kleer Townshend LLP (OKT) seeks an Intermediate Lawyer for our Business & Economic Development practice, based in Toronto or Victoria. You will lead transactional work from structuring through closing, drafting agreements, coordinating due diligence, and advising on Indigenous governance and economic development.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in corporate/commercial law, strong drafting/negotiation skills, and LSO admission in BC and/or Ontario.

Qualifications

• Five (5) to seven (7) years of corporate/commercial law experience.
• Active Law Society membership in BC and/or ON.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core transaction team member from structuring to closing.
• Draft and negotiate key agreements for transactions.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and governance documents.
• Advise clients on Indigenous business models and governance.
• Travel to client communities across Canada as needed.
