Riopelle Group Professional Corporation is accepting applications for a full-time law clerk/legal assistant to support our Corporate/Commercial practice team at our office in Timmins, ON. Job Duties:

  • Providing professional support services by preparing and drafting various corporate documents, including those relating to:
    • Incorporations and dissolutions, amalgamations, amendments, annual and other resolutions;
    • Preparing minute book updates and summaries;
    • Preparing documentation related to commercial real estate transactions, share/asset purchase and sale transactions and reorganizations;
    • Updating of information in our corporate database and other record-keeping systems;
    • Assisting lawyers and law clerks with corporate tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of related work experience.
  • Client-service oriented, including strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organized with ability to adapt to changing situations, prioritize and meet deadlines with attention to detail and ability to think critically to solve problems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office (WORD, EXCEL, Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of Esilaw, Unity (Conveyancer), FastCompany.
  • Must be able to communicate in both English and French.

This is not a remote position.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
