Position Summary

Based at the head office in Laval, Quebec, and reporting to the manager of financial reporting, the Financial Analyst will participate in financial reporting and consolidation activities within an international context, supporting growth and acquisitions.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes for all group entities.
  2. Prepare financial statements, notes, and analyses for consolidated financial reports and management reviews.
  3. Provide analysis to senior management to support decision-making.
  4. Assist in consolidating quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
  5. Validate data integrity within the consolidation system.
  6. Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of financial systems and documentation processes.
  7. Support the development of analysis and financial statement production processes.
  8. Maintain the group's accounting policies.
  9. Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
  10. Participate in special projects such as business combinations.

Skills & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; CPA certification or equivalent experience (auditor certification is a plus).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international, multi-site environment; knowledge of IFRS standards; familiarity with OneStream, Oracle Hyperion, or Workiva software is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, effective communication, ability to work under pressure, organizational skills, autonomy, proactivity, and team spirit.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
