National Bank of Canada offers an internship in corporate finance where you will contribute to financial analysis, tool development, and process optimization to support strategic decisions.

You will join a large Finance team and work on projects across Financial Planning, Capital, Treasury, Real Estate Strategy, and Corporate Development. Strong Excel, Python/SQL skills and AI awareness are valued, with exposure to analytics environments and reporting improvements.

Qualifications

• Student in 1st or 2nd university cycle in data, finance, mathematics or business analytics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to convey ideas clearly.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of AI.
• Programming knowledge (Python, SQL or VBA).
• Ability to synthesize information and develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Improve analytics environment with SQL/SAP/Excel.
• Set up or improve Excel analysis tools and dashboards.
• Participate in capital monitoring calculations.
• Develop liquidity monitoring measures and forecasting tools.
• Analyze the bank's revenues and expenses at different levels.
• Automate tasks for the real estate strategy using Power Platform.
