Key Responsibilities:

Real Estate:

  • Manage commercial real estate transactions from start to finish
  • Draft and process purchase, sale, and refinancing documents
  • Prepare closing documents and statements of adjustments
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, realtors, and legal professionals to ensure smooth closings
  • Maintain meticulous records and meet critical deadlines

Corporate:

  • Maintain and update corporate minute books and government filings
  • Prepare documentation for incorporations, amendments, and dissolutions
  • Draft documents for share issuances, reorganizations, and financings
  • Complete regulatory filings at provincial and federal levels

Your Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certificate from an accredited paralegal or legal assistant program
  • Strong foundation in corporate law; real estate experience is an asset (training provided)
  • Proficiency in ALF, Microsoft Office, and document management systems
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent time management skills
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
