Corporate Accountant - Midtown (On-Site) - Real Estate

Job Description

• Work closely with the Director on reporting for all corporate entities.
• Manage the complete accounting cycle for all corporate entities.
• Handle cash management, including cash flow analysis.
• Prepare internal and external partner reports, supporting GL balances as needed.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews of Shareholder's Loan.
• Prepare compliance reports for lenders, government agencies (e.g., T5018), and partners on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts for corporate and project entities monthly.
• Collaborate with internal operations, sales transaction teams, external auditors, and financial institutions.
• Develop and maintain PP&A schedules and corporate leasing agreements.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and HST filings (monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Review invoice processing and accounts payable aging for all corporate entities.
• Manage monthly fee billings, related entity chargebacks, and collections.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience, ideally within a real estate or construction company.
• CPA designation or working towards it.
• Strong accounting, analytical, and Microsoft Excel skills; experience with real estate accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, personable demeanor.
