$101,600.00 - $158,750.00

Why This Role Matters:

This role oversees the entire content creation process, including ideation, design and publication, utilizing SEO principles and content management systems to enhance visibility. Working closely with authors to ensure high quality content meets audience needs and expectations, this person has a keen eye for detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and technical proficiency on content management systems and with analytics tools.


You Will:


  • Content Planning & Management: Lead the planning, creation, and curation of high-quality, consistent content tailored to various channels, including digital platforms, social media, intranet, email, press releases, and internal communications. Ensure content aligns with organizational messaging, brand voice, and compliance standards. Manage content calendars to ensure timely delivery of campaigns, updates, and initiatives.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on channel performance, audience engagement, and content effectiveness. Use insights to inform future content strategies and improve overall communication impact.

  • Writing Skills: Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media, advertisements, and other marketing materials. Edit and proofread content for grammar, style, tone, accuracy, and SEO best practices. Adapt writing style to suit various audiences and formats.

  • Technical Skills: Upload, format, and publish content across CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager). Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, readability, and user engagement. Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure content displays correctly on all devices and browsers. Monitor content performance and make data-driven improvements as needed. Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team. Other job duties as assigned.


Your Experience Should Include:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in copywriting, content publishing, or digital marketing.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong understanding of SEO, digital content strategy, and content management systems (CMS).

  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Yoast), and publishing platforms.

  • Proficiency with platforms such as Newswire, Cision, Meltwater, and other media monitoring and social listening tools.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

  • Excellent editing, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global, matrixed environment and adapt content for diverse audiences.


Salary Range:

$101,600 - $182,562.50. Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.
