This role is part of our Personalized Creative team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalized, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behavior's, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more!

JOB PURPOSE:

As a copywriter, you’ll join our global copy team, which is made up of nearly 60 people worldwide. You’ll be writing and editing in-app content for a streaming platform—providing on-brand copy for synopses that drive views and engagement with global audiences.

Reviewing, editing, and rewriting AI-generated synopses and writing net new content will be the focus of this role. You’ll be responsible for ensuring synopses are compelling, insightful, and accurate descriptions of every title. Working closely with Senior Copywriters and the Copy Lead, you’ll flex your creative and strategic muscles every day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Edit and rewrite AI-generated copy to align with brand guidelines and inform audiences of the title’s pliot, tone, and genre
  • Create compelling, effective original copy with a clear objective for titles from all over the world
  • Develop creative ideas and concepts across various channels where applicable
  • Adhere to client’s tone of voice and brand guidelines
  • Research competitors and trends for creative inspiration
  • Collaborate with fellow writers and account management
  • Update internal documents to track feedback and brand nuances to ensure consistency

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience as a copywriter is a must
  • Experience with AI content (editing, rewriting) a must
  • Experience working in the entertainment (film and television) sector is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of how to craft copy that connects with audiences and converts scrollers to viewers
  • Detail-oriented, curious, research-driven, and able to work independently
  • Ability and readiness to work at a fast pace on multiple assets daily
  • Confidence in working with other departments and stakeholders
  • An understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journey
  • Ability to present work to large groups and communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically
  • A collaborative approach to getting things done
