A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Copilot and Learning and Development Trainer in Calgary. This hybrid role requires expertise in Microsoft Copilot and involves preparing and delivering training sessions for team members. Note: This is a hybrid role in Calgary that requires a minimum of three days a week in the office

Role Description: We have partnered with our client to find a Copilot and Learning and Development Trainer to assist with training their team members. The primary initial accountability will be training on Copilot, but the role also will be required to assist with implementation of the broader Learning and Development plan.

Our client has rolled out Copilot to a small group of team members and is now preparing to roll out to all team members. As part of that, over the next number of months we want to offer training sessions for team members on using Copilot. Potential topics include:

• Introduction to Copilot: assist team members in understanding broad use cases, and use cases specific to each line of business.
• Using Prompts: Help users write effective, context-rich prompts that unlock Copilot’s full potential across Microsoft 365 apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote
• Better Meetings: Teach users how to use Copilot in Teams to enhance meeting productivity including covering how to prompt Copilot to summarize discussions, extract action items, and manage follow-ups efficiently.
• Create and Improve Content: Teach users how to use Copilot to draft, refine, and enhance content across Microsoft 365 apps including generating documents, presentations, and emails.
• The successful candidate will prepare a training plan, and then deliver the training. Microsoft Learning Academy for Copilot can be leveraged for content, along with the many other publicly available materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High level of expertise on Microsoft Copilot
• Experience as a trainer
• Comfortable in multitasking and be comfortable leading training for areas beyond just Copilot
• Must be comfortable facilitating in person and virtually

Duration of Contract:

• 6 months
• Onsite 3 days a week and more as required
• As part of the interview process, you will need to come prepared to talk about the number of hours they expect it would take to prepare for the Copilot training and then execute it
• If this goes well, this could turn into a long-term part-time contract
