This opportunity is for you if you are passionate about accounts receivable, enjoy risk management and excel at maintaining accuracy and consistency in account management. You are meticulous, detail-oriented and possess strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. You are also bilingual and an excellent communicator, able to work effectively in a team and with external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with internal customers and business partners.
• Manage and update member information, ensuring accuracy of system entries and documentation.
• Monitor and enforce credit limits, and maintain favorable aging indicators through proactive collections and account management.
• Generate and analyze aging and exception reports to support timely resolution of past due balances.
• Regularly reconcile customer accounts and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant with policies.
• Handle requests with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring quality service.
• Support business development managers in aligning account structures and optimizing credit facilities.
• Apply corporate credit policies and procedures to ensure sound account and risk management.
• Identify and resolve account issues, and recommend improvements to promote growth while minimizing risk.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• College degree in finance, accounting, administration or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in accounts receivable or similar role.
• Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high quality work.
• Comfortable with account management systems and tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Proactive spirit and autonomy in daily responsibilities.
• Knowledge of the retail sector an asset.
