Job Location : The Site Coordinator is required to travel to construction sites on a rotation basis. We have various sites across Canada.

- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or relevant college training
- 2 to 5 years of experience in similar positions
- Proficiency in the Office suite and IT tools
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; fluency in English; French is an asset
- High geographical mobility and availability according to the working hours of the construction site
- Excellent team management and conflict resolution skills
- Autonomy and leadership qualities
What you will do to complete this mission successfully :
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing contracts for subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for the execution and control of work
- Support the Electrical Superintendent in coordinating activities specific to the substation system
- Confirm and coordinate electrical engineering and maintenance technical requirements with field crews and electrical subcontractors
- Monitor the progress of work on the collector system and produce periodic reports
- Coordinate construction activities with the electrical superintendent, environmental engineer, subcontractors, municipal and regional representatives, and the client or developer
- Coordinate the installation of the glue system with the project engineer (tree cutting, water crossings, etc.)
- Coordinate grounding and soil testing with external laboratories
- Develop and implement a quality control program for work related to the substation system
- Coordinate compliance inspections of the work
- Ensure adherence to technical procedures, including locking and labelling, in collaboration with the Project Engineer
- Follow up on purchases, receipt, and inventory of materials required for the work
- Participate in implementing the prevention program and support the Prevention Officer regarding traffic controls in collaboration with the Electrical Superintendent
