Agence CSB is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator (SST) for major construction sites. These large projects present significant challenges and require dedicated health and safety oversight, making this a crucial role for our client with substantial responsibilities. Enjoy a stable, long-term assignment for the expansion of a school and gymnasium construction (project valued at $17M).

Requirement: Hold an official CNESST certification as a health and safety supervisor/coordinator.

Location: Île Perrot (Montérégie)

Contract Duration: March 24 to September 30, 2026, with a high likelihood of extension, potentially involving Hydro-Québec projects.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project kickoff meetings with the contractor and Hydro-Québec.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions.
  • Visit the site to ensure health and safety compliance, respecting regulations, procedures, and directives.
  • Engage in prevention activities.
  • Record inspections and safety observations in Enablon.
  • Train employees and future supervisors in health and safety practices.
  • Stay updated on safety incidents and directives from other projects, ensuring dissemination and follow-up.
  • Act as an expert and coach to develop leadership in health and safety among managers and contractors.

Profile & Qualifications:

  • Official CNESST health and safety certification for supervisor/coordinator roles.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MCT, Autocad, etc.
  • Experience on Hydro-Québec sites, internal or contractor-based (please specify).
  • ASP card - General construction safety course.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle (Class 5).
  • Ability to travel across the province.
