Job Title: Product Data Entry Coordinator

Department : Product Strategy and Brand Development

Reports To : Product Strategy Manager

Are you a driven and enthusiastic individual seeking an exciting new opportunity? Browns is looking for a highly detail-oriented, patient, and meticulous Product Data Entry Coordinator. Role Overview : As a Product Data Entry Coordinator, reporting to the Product Strategy Manager, you’ll ensure data integrity, cohesiveness, and completeness in the Product Information Management (PIM) system. You will collaborate with the studio photographer to highlight special product details and ensure proper representation of each style.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Product Data Entry & Management :
  • Update product attributes in the PIM system for cross-department consistency.
  • Validate product data for accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Ensure consistent formatting, terminology, and categorization in data entry.
  • Map data fields to attributes in the PIM system.
  • Update mappings to reflect new needs or resolve issues.
  • Collaboration with Product Photography :
    • Communicate special product details (e.g., textures, hidden features, functional aspects) to the photographer to ensure proper imagery.
    • Review post-shoot images to verify all key details are captured accurately and match final products.
    • Work closely with the photographer to align visual assets with product descriptions and attributes.
  • Data Consistency & Quality Control :
    • Perform regular checks to ensure consistency across product categories.
    • Maintain an internal reference guide for attribute definitions to ensure consistency over time.
  • Support for Product Launches & Web Enhancements :
    • Ensure all product attributes are correctly entered and finalized before launches, promotions, and seasonal updates.
    • Collaborate with the Product Attribute Coordinator to improve product discoverability.
  • Administrative & System Support :
    • Manage large datasets efficiently within Excel, PIM, and other software.
    • Support data-driven projects to enhance product information management.
    • Maintain organized records of data updates and corrections for tracking and reporting.

    Qualifications :

    • Post-secondary education in Merchandising, Data Management, or a related field preferred.
    • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, product information management, or merchandising.
    • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering) and familiarity with PIM systems or similar tools.
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration.
    • Patience and consistency in repetitive tasks.
    • Analytical mindset to interpret data and recognize patterns.
