Summary of job description

The holder will be responsible for coordinating tasks and developing tools for the Production Engineering Service in order to carry out priorities, programs, projects, objectives, and operational monitoring for BTCL. He or she will be responsible for coordinating a full range of activities, both IT and administrative, to support production engineering activities:

• Creation of IT tools for the following activities:
• Creation and automated monitoring of KPIs
• Analyzing trends and bottlenecks in production engineering activities
• Ensuring budget monitoring and verification.
• Providing analysis and forecasts for ongoing projects.
• Facilitating personnel needs review meetings compared to team capacity
• Managing best practices and ensuring standardization and improvement of the commercial program project management system
• Coordinating projects/programs through the following activities:
• Cost estimates, labor, tooling, and equipment
• Coordinating the design and manufacture of tooling (internal and external)
• Coordinating with Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering, operations, and other development personnel, "producibility" issues
• Monitoring and coordinating actions for engineering change integration
• Proposing new methods, processes, or technologies for improving manufacturing costs
• IT support in various manufacturing systems (Enovia, CAMS, SAP)

Minimum required qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field of manufacturing technology and/or engineering, business analyst.
• The holder must have five (5) years of relevant experience
• Ability in budget management
• Excellent knowledge of best practices in project management
• Excellent knowledge of French (oral and written)
• Excellent knowledge of English as this position requires communication in English with Bell teams outside Quebec and/or its suppliers, partners, and clients outside Quebec
• Knowledge of Powerbi, Enovia, CAMS, SAP
• Knowledge of BTCL Mirabel systems

Any other combination of schooling and experience deemed equivalent may be considered.
