Sysco Ottawa is seeking a Coordinator Transportation to ensure timely communication of delivery issues with Sales, Drivers, and Contractors. You will support daily routes, resolve driver concerns, and help maintain on-time reporting for key metrics.

The role requires clerical experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with Microsoft Office; preference given to those with transportation industry exposure. Shift is Sunday to Thursday, 6:30pm–3:00am, in Ottawa.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of clerical and administrative experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address questions and concerns of drivers and Sales Representatives; coordinate with Transportation Manager and Supervisors for resolution.
• Retrieve calls and assist Customer Service or Sales with route concerns (late departures, time windows, driver complaints, forecasted arrivals, locations, hours).
• Ensure accurate on-time reporting for department metrics and communicate route status daily.
• Collaborate with Supervisors to review situations impacting cost or service levels.
• Manage training documents for audits and logging driver challenges for resolution.
• Assist with organizing recovery actions due to customer service failures.
• Perform payroll-related clerical activities.
