Job Posting Description:

This is a hybrid role #LI-Hybrid

Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Asset Management, you will assist and coordinate with external vendors throughout the lifecycle and milestones for the Store Development and Real Estate (SDRE) Division. You will play an integral role in supporting the implementation and delivery of capital improvement projects, and facilities operations of the LCBO.

You will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on capital spending activities and processes, to ensure that the framework is supportive of corporate business strategies. You will prepare, maintain, and deliver programs and training packages to build awareness of and promote new tools as our industry and department evolves.

About the Role:

  1. Re-issue RFPs, create new RFPs, RFQs, RFTs, requisitions, and other contract documents to support the managing departments and ensure conformance to LCBO policies.
  2. Manage and coordinate all procurement submissions, communications, and reporting for Program Management and Store Development and Real Estate Departments.
  3. Develop and maintain databases to support reporting requirements, standardized processes and procedures ensuring contract deliverables are met.
  4. Develop tools, templates, spreadsheets, charts, maps, and manage data to support program performance tracking.
  5. Deploy capital planning approved software for aggregating asset information.
  6. Consolidate facility data for comprehensive capital programs’ (emergency or preventative) planning and tracking, approval, and assignment of funding.
  7. Ongoing data mining process such as exploration, pattern identification for validation and verification.
  8. This role may involve occasional travel throughout the province to support business needs.

About You:

  1. Post-secondary education in business, engineering, retail operations, real estate, and/or contract administration.
  2. 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Facility or Asset Management.
  3. PMP Certification or in progress is preferred.
  4. Experience with procurement process, contract management, store development planning, project/program management principles, and vendor management.
  5. Experience with the Construction Lien Act and Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) standards and templates is preferred.
  6. Demonstrated ability to undertake and explain complex data analysis and interpretation, database management, conduct quantitative and qualitative research.
  7. Advanced computer skills using software application packages (particularly to conduct analysis), such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Oracle, PowerBI.
