As a key support role within the International Sales team, this position facilitates and coordinates a wide range of sales activities across corporate and leisure markets. Reporting directly to the Senior Managers of Corporate and Leisure Sales, it ensures smooth execution of administrative, operational, and client-facing tasks, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and demonstrates strong technical proficiency. The role actively supports strategic sales initiatives and contributes to the efficiency of daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support corporate, government, education, and international leisure accounts and activities in both official languages, reporting to the Senior Managers of Corporate and Leisure Sales.
  • Perform administrative duties such as monthly budget reconciliation, invoice payments, cheque requisitions, credit card reconciliations, contract and file management, shipping and receiving marketing materials, ordering office supplies, and maintaining office equipment.
  • Update Oracle and Salesforce systems.
  • Provide product knowledge to VIA Rail’s corporate and leisure clients.
  • Create reports and presentations using Power BI and PowerPoint.
  • Plan and organize familiarization trips.
  • Support the sales team and act as a key contact during team members’ absences.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the Sales team.

Requirements

  • College diploma in Administration; a Marketing certificate is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with B2B distribution models in the leisure and corporate travel industry is an asset.
  • Excellent oral communication skills in both English and French.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Oracle, and Salesforce.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented with organizational and planning abilities.
  • Resourceful and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and a team player.
