Description

Reporting to the Senior Consultant of Return to Work, this position plays a vital role in assisting the organization to achieve best-in-class performance, requiring a significant departure from the status quo. This position may be located near a Purolator terminal in Richmond, Burnaby, or Port Kells.

Responsibilities
  1. Support Operations with non-complex Workers’ Compensation (WCB) claims, including disability management, return-to-work, and accommodations to ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  2. Ensure accurate reporting and tracking of workplace injuries, illnesses, and absences in the H & S software system.
  3. Collaborate with provincial WCB / CNESST and healthcare providers to gather medical and return-to-work information.
  4. Promote the Return-to-Work Program by engaging with injured employees and Operations to recommend modified work and develop return-to-work plans.
  5. Partner with RTW team, Health and Safety, Operations, and other departments to improve injury, illness, and disability management outcomes.
  6. Support Purolator Health initiatives and identify ergonomic or workplace well-being concerns.
Education
  • University degree in human resources, healthcare, social services, kinesiology, or related fields is preferred.
Experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid provincial driver’s license; some travel may be required.
