Qualifications

Here is what you will be doing:

As a Coordinator for the Provincial Drug Reimbursement Programs (PDRP), you'll provide essential coordination, scheduling, operational, and administrative support to ensure seamless functioning of our initiatives and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including the Ministry of Health, pharmaceutical companies, and health system partners

  • Support the collection and management of high-quality data from hospitals and clinicians

  • Maintain effective electronic filing systems for PDRP’s work.

  • Provide ad-hoc support to the PDRP Director, other Managers, and staff as needed.

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new hires.

  • Support the contract management process for drug advisory committee members

  • Support Clinical Lead invoicing and payment processes for the Clinical Lead and clinical expert reviewers

  • Support procurement of clinical expert reviewers who support the adjudication of eligibility of cancer treatment funding requests

  • Schedule and distribute materials for meetings with internal and external stakeholders

  • Support operations related to CAR T-cell and Out-of-Country programs, facilitating case reviews, redacting documents, tracking data, and sending communications to external stakeholders

  • Oversee ongoing program operations, including establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with key internal and external partners

Here is what you will need to be successful:

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree plus 3-5 years’ of relevant experience

  • Experience in healthcare, the healthcare system and/or medical terminology preferred

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, decision-making and diplomacy skills. Able to interact comfortably with all levels of organization and personnel.

  • Superior attention to detail, organization, and time management skills, with ability to prioritize and manage several tasks

  • Responsible and highly motivated.

  • Ability to work both as a member of a team to fulfil the team’s responsibilities, and independently, using sound judgement and independent thought.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook. Experience with MS Visio is an asset. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new software.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in English grammar and spelling.

  • Strong work ethic and proven ability to practice a high level of confidentiality.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and exercise sound judgment

  • Ability to ensure completed work outputs meet key program objectives, and adhere to standards, protocols and guideline
