We are recruiting for the Calgary office:

Essential Functions
  • Training / Onboarding: Coordinate Alberta Student onboarding & training for Articling students, Summer students, Clerks, and others. Organize the annual Alberta New Associate Training sessions.
  • Feedback & Reviews: Manage student feedback and review cycles in Vi, assist the Student Director, and oversee Alberta Associate Review Processes.
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Support planning and organization of Bennett Jones Academy sessions, research external opportunities, manage memberships, subscriptions, and external registrations.
  • Other Functions: Liaise with Law Society of Alberta and other provincial bodies, lead fee payments, track CPD filings, assist with data reports, support Directors, handle accounting tasks, coordinate with other offices, assist with recruitment, and ensure software tool utilization.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years law firm experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and technical skills.
  • Strong work ethic, confidentiality, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented, detail-focused, proactive problem solver.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
