The Coordinator, Partnership Development and Practicum, plays a key role in ensuring academic programs remain relevant to the regional communities that UFV serves, by developing collaborative academic pathways with post-secondary institutions and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities with community organizations and employers.
The Coordinator, Partnership Development and Practicum includes securing and fostering relationships with post-secondary institutions that lead to Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) initiatives and transfer credit pathway agreements. It also includes developing and facilitating external stakeholder relationships that lead to WIL opportunities for students while also working with faculty on curriculum redesign that embeds best practices in WIL into academic programs within the College of Arts.
This position does not entail teaching responsibilities.
Master’s degree in Humanities or Social Sciences from an accredited institution (Doctorate preferred).
Three (3) years’ experience in a related role.
Proven success in developing and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external partners.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience with website content and promotional materials.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work creatively and collaboratively as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
Knowledge of work-integrated learning curriculum design and implementation.
Event planning and practicum placement experience preferred.
Grant writing and/or fundraising experience preferred.
