We are currently hiring for the position of:


COORDINATOR, INDUSTRY PROGRAMMING


The Coordinator, Industry Programming, will work within a small programming team in supporting the logistics and delivery, and providing on-site support, for the Industry Conference and Talent Development programmes for TIFF50.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Shall include but not be limited to:


  • Working on the official invitation process for Industry Conference and Talent Development participants, guests, and moderators, including materials collection and follow-up

  • Email correspondence with Conference guests, external partners, and Talent Development participants for logistics and itineraries

  • Supporting the Production Manager on venue and technical logistics for sessions and events

  • Preparing and reviewing material to ensure accuracy of all content,, including guest names, titles, sponsor and partner acknowledgements

  • Creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive database (Artifax) records for Industry Conference

  • Compiling and updating Project Books, itineraries, and driver schedules for Industry guests

  • Supporting on stats for reporting and proposals

  • Providing on-site support at Conference or Labs as needed, including greeting guests and participants

  • Providing a detailed postmortem report

  • Other coordination tasks and duties as assigned



RATE OF PAY:

  • $23.00/Hourly


TARGET CONTRACT DATES:

We will be hiring four coordinators with contracts targeted to start:

  • June 2, 2025 - September 14, 2025

  • June 23, 2025 - September 14, 2024

  • June 30, 2025 - September 14, 2025

  • July 7, 2025 - September 14, 2025


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in the Canadian or international film industries or live event production

  • Experience in film festivals is an asset

  • Knowledge of Canadian and international film landscapes

  • Exceptionally strong administrative and organizational skills

  • Able to handle difficult situations and people with professionalism and grace

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of other languages is an asset

  • Excellent computer skills, and experience with Google Suite applications

  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends

  • Experience with Artifax is an asset
