Job description

The Coordinator, Human Resources Information Systems & Analytics, provides support, and maintenance for Human Resources’ systems, including but not limited to, the management of the Banner leave system and faculty evaluations.

The Coordinator, Human Resources Information Systems and Analytics assists other HRISA staff members in the implementation of changes to HR systems and processes. The Coordinator provides first level support for the UFV community on HR system related issues and assists in the development and maintenance of current HR systems and processes.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in human resource management, or related field.

Two (2) years’ experience in post-secondary education or similar complex organization(s).

CPHR designation is preferred.

Knowledge of project management would be an asset.

Direct experience with ERP systems; Banner and survey tools experience is an asset.

Advanced proficiency with standard office systems and applications, including advanced working knowledge of HRISA or similar complex databases.

Experience with Banner would be an asset.

Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and methodologies.

Proven ability to handle confidential information and make sound decisions within the limits of established policies and procedures.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships in a team environment.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Knowledge of Human Resources’ policies, procedures, processes, including regulatory reports.

Tact, discretion and diplomacy are crucial to performing the duties of this position.
