Detailed Overview
The Coordinator, Housekeeping Services, manages daily operations and staff within designated site, participates in program planning, quality assurance, and policy implementation, and may serve on committees.

Responsibilities

1. Manage housekeeping staff, including recruitment, scheduling, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
2. Develop evaluation criteria and provide input on organizational structures.
3. Develop and monitor policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
4. Manage operating budgets, analyze variances, and recommend adjustments.
5. Maintain effective interdepartmental communication and relationships.
6. Participate in quality assurance programs and audits.
7. Interpret and administer collective agreements, handle employee issues, and participate in investigations.
8. Ensure compliance with policies, infection control, and health and safety standards.
9. Participate in committees and working groups.

Qualifications

Education and Experience
Diploma in Business Administration or related field, plus 3+ years healthcare experience, or equivalent.
