Position SummaryThe Canadian Football League is seeking a driven and detail-oriented
Coordinator, Partnership Marketing to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of marketing, partnerships, and media who is eager to grow their career in a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to the Partnerships group, assisting with the preparation, logistics, and execution of CFL partner events, sponsored programs, and onsite activations.
- Assist in the execution of sponsorship agreements including signage, digital assets, in-game promotions, on-site activation, contesting and partner events.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of sponsorship assets, translating data into digestible insights to aid in strategic partnership decisions.
- Deliver timely and accurate status reports, providing clear updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with onboarding new partners and provide training on CFL systems, portals, and processes.
- Various administrative tasks such as filing, couriering, printing, invoicing, contract generation etc.
- Work closely with cross functional teams across marketing, digital, and events to align on execution details and identify areas for improvement or innovation.
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-first culture by communicating proactively and supporting shared department goals.
- Use independent judgment to manage tasks, solve problems, and escalate issues when needed.
- Apply strong time management to prioritize tasks and follow internal workflows, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and maintain performance under pressure during key execution windows.
- On-site event support during one-off partner events, playoffs and Grey Cup.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills- Post secondary degree or diploma in business administration, marketing or related field.
- Previous experience working in marketing, partnerships, events, or sports and entertainment is a definite asset.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines and prioritize competing priorities.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong internal and external relationship builder able to interact well at all levels in the organization.
- Good judgement and problem-solving skills, works autonomously and takes initiative.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas in a clear, succinct manner.
- Exemplary planning, project management, proofreading and critical thinking skills.
- A willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and tackle a variety of tasks in a small and energetic sports organization.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
- A team player: works collaboratively and respectfully with diverse personalities and work styles.
- Able to travel domestically, if required.
Other Considerations- Hybrid Model: The incumbent will be required to attend the office at least two (2) days per week. In addition, you are required to attend meetings and other business events at the office or other venues as business needs dictate.
- Work Schedule: Due to the nature of the business, the incumbent must be available and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Travel: The incumbent must be able to travel for CFL Piller Events, as required.
